​At Chandra Himalaya Bookings, we strive to provide a transparent and hassle-free booking experience. Please read our cancellation and refund guidelines carefully before making a reservation at Hotel Himalaya, Nainital.

​1. Cancellation Policy

​The cancellation charges depend on how early you notify us before your scheduled check-in date:

​7 Days or More Before Check-in: 90% Refund (10% processing fee will be deducted).

​3 to 7 Days Before Check-in: 50% Refund of the total booking amount.

​Less than 72 Hours Before Check-in: No Refund (100% cancellation charges apply).

​No Show: In case you do not arrive at the hotel without prior notice, no refund will be issued.

​2. Refund Process

​Once a cancellation request is approved, the refund will be processed within 5-7 business days.

​The amount will be credited back to the original payment method (Bank Account/UPI/Card) used during the booking.

​Please note that some banks may take additional time to reflect the credit in your account.

​3. Modification of Booking

​If you wish to change your travel dates, please contact us at least 5 days in advance.

​Date changes are subject to room availability at Hotel Himalaya and may involve additional charges if the rates for the new dates are higher.

​4. Force Majeure (Natural Calamities)

​Nainital is a hilly region. In case of extreme weather conditions, landslides, or government-imposed travel restrictions that make reaching the hotel impossible, we will work with Hotel Himalaya to provide either a full refund or a credit note for future travel. This is subject to the hotel’s final confirmation.

​5. Early Check-out

​If a guest chooses to check out earlier than the scheduled departure date, no refund will be provided for the remaining nights.
